DESCRIPTION:
Country tall clock, 30 hours, time and strike, wooden works movement with painted wooden dial, c1830 in a contemporary pine case with tiger maple highlights on trunk and hood by Frasier Forge of Fryeburg, Maine, c1985
CONDITION:
the case is in excellent condition. The dial and movement are in good condition. The weights and pendulum bob are period. The pendulum rod is a replacement. The dial has been drilled at some time for a key-wind movement, now fitted to a proper wood movement, but key holes remain. seconds and calendar hands replaced Ht 82 1/2"
